We sought out Al Fawar as an escape from the "hotel economy" that tourists are typically shunted into in the UAE. Right from the beginning, we knew we made the right choice. The restaurant is on Khalifa Street, which has tons of local dining options. The open kitchen in the back was bustling with the preparation of take-away orders and it smelled delicious. We placed our order - hummus, yogurt with cucumber, grilled fish and lamb chops. The waiter first brought us a huge platter of fresh vegetables, pickles and olives as a starter. Then our food arrived - steaming hot, freshly prepared and totally satisfying. In terms of the ambience, it's basic, but clean and bright - there are nice tables and full waiter service. Don't let other posts lead you to believe it's just a shwarma stand, this is a proper restaurant! Our hosts were helpful and friendly, and overall it was a fantastic meal. Definitely recommend.

Always I respect this place as despite it is so old and competition in such location in Al Ain is tough but they are still keeping the same quality tasty food with an amazing affordable price..
So genuine Arabic Lebanese food with excellent value versus money.
also the portion here is big comparing to any Lebanese restaurant and price is less by far despite quality is great.

Al Fawar Restaurant is a great place to get a quick bite take away or dine in Al Ain. I've had several of their sandwiches for lunch and they are delicious. The meat is moist and tasty. One of my favorites is the Falafel with Fried Vegetables, so good. I've had their Arabic Shawarma once. It was good, but not the best I've had, so far Al Rawdha has my vote for that.
The parking in front of the restaurant is limited. I've never had a problem finding a spot during lunch, but at night people are constantly flowing in and out of there.
